Hello, I'm Lee, a Perth-based artist who primarily works with oils. I'm a self-taught artist and have been painting on and off since my early teens, completing numerous commissioned pieces, selling over 50 paintings across Australia, and exhibiting at various shows.
A central theme in my art is nature and the natural world. Growing up surrounded by the beautiful trees, cliffs and waterfalls of the Blue Mountains in NSW, I developed a deep love for the environment and my creative passion blossomed. Later, moving to Western Australia, I found peace and a sense of home on its beautiful beaches. I constantly strive to express the beauty of nature through my art, and I've discovered that oils are the perfect medium for this, allowing me to create wonderful textures that mirror those found in the natural world.

As you'll discover in the galleries on this site, my artistic journey has always been about creative exploration—experimenting with new mediums and styles. Each piece of artwork is an expression of the path I've traveled with paper, canvas, and paint throughout the years.

Palm Beach Sunsets
I love a summer evening and the way Rockingham bay just shimmers as the sun goes down. The waters are calm and the colours just reflect as the sun goes down and the moon comes up. This is one of my favorite scenes in the warmer months and I long to see it again.
